Mother of Pearl Pear Shaped Clipback Earrings with Undersea Scene of Faux Pearls and Seahorse

This is a lovely pair of vintage mother of pearl clipback earrings with an under the sea scene in faux pearls and a seahorse. The earrings measure 42x33mm and are probably from the 40s when metal was hard to come by because of the war and a lot of shell jewelry was made. I love this style of jewelry because it brings out the really great imaginations of the makers.
