50s Bijoux M. G. Pierced Post With Crystal and Peridot Rhinestones Unsigned Earrings

This is a vintage 50s pair of pierced post 2 3/8" long earrings. They are stunning examples of Czech jewelry with octagons, baguettes, pears and chaton cut stones. The large pear cut stones are clear and not foiled so it looks like they are gold in the middle but that is the metal under the stone. Makes for an unusual look. The pin which was sold seperately is marked BIJOUX M.G. on a plaque on the back of the pin. From what I can find on line, it was normal for this company not to plate it's jewelry. It shows the solder on the back where it was put together but doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece.
