Alice on Mother of Pearl Sweetheart Brooch from the 40s So Lovely

This "Sweetheart" pin was probably made at a fair where a man would bring his sweetheart to a booth and buy the pin and then watch the artisan make the name out of gold filled wire. It was very popular in the early 1900s and then became popular again during the 40s.
It is 1 7/8x5/8" and is in excellent vintage condition. The leaf is carved.
It is not marked.
