Italian Sterling Plated Pot Metal Souvenir Spoon with Winged Griffin on Demitasse Spoon

I believe this is a souvenir spoon from around the turn of the last century. It is probably pot metal that has been silver plated and has a lovely patina. It is 3 1/2" long putting it in the demitasse spoon category. It is in excellent condition but I couldn't find any marks. The animal at the top is a griffin.
