Art Deco Egyptian Revival Queen Nefertiti with Filigree Lotus Flowers and Trombone Clasp

This is a wonderful vintage 20s or 30s brooch with Nefertiti's Bust in the middle. It has 5 Lotus flowers around the bust in filigree. It is 1 5/8" in diameter with a trombone clasp and is marked on the pin but I don't know what the mark means but I think it might mean sterling. The pin is in excellent condition.

Queen Nefertiti was Akhenaten's Queen and some believe her to be the mother of King Tut. Her body was never found and speculation abounds that she might be buried in King Tut's tomb behind hidden walls. She was considered the most beautiful woman in the world by many people and her bust has been used by Cosmetic firms as the epitome of beauty.
