Alexandrite and Indigo Pierced Wire Earrings Designed by ME in the French Style

This pair of earrings were very hard to design. I had no idea what colors to pair up with the alexandrite because it is a color change stone and in some lights it looks light amethyst and in others it looks light blue. (as in the pictures). I was going through my delicas box and the only color that would possibly match them was the indigo. It is very dark and really looks black in most light. But get them in natural light and you will see the lovely dark blue sparks. They look round but the are slightly oval because of the 12x10mm crystal. I used silver lined silver delicas beads and silver plated steel fishhook earwires. The medallions are 1" in diameter and 1 7/8" long with the earwires. If you are shopping for Christmas, these would make a wonderful gift for your favorite girl and I know she will appreciate getting designer made earrings. I know I would.
